Contracts Manager

We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients, and we are currently seeking a highly experienced Contract Manager to join our team and oversee prime projects within the Project Management Office (PMO).

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts for PMO projects
  • Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and stakeholders to ensure that contracts meet project requirements and are in compliance with company policies and legal regulations
  • Implement effective contract management processes and tools to monitor key contractual obligations, deliverables, and deadlines
  • Lead contract negotiations and discussions with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms and conditions
  • Analyze contract performance and make recommendations for improvements or amendments to optimize project outcomes
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related issues and risks
  • Ensure that all parties involved in the contracts are aware of their obligations and responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records
  • Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to identify and address potential risks and issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure alignment with contract requirements and project objectives
  • Lead the resolution of contract disputes and claims, working closely with legal counsel and project teams to mitigate risks and protect the company's interests
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to contract management, and propose enhancements to existing processes and policies
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial reporting related to contracts
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on contract performance, milestones, and liabilities for senior management and project stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of standardized contract templates, guidelines, and procedures to streamline the contract management process across the PMO
  • Participate in contract kick-off meetings, project reviews, and other project-related discussions to provide contractual insights and guidance
  • Monitor and assess the performance of subcontractors and suppliers, including compliance with contract terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for project teams to enhance their understanding of contract management principles and best practices
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process efficiencies within the contract management function

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 13 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the PMO environment
  • Proven track record of managing complex contracts and delivering successful project outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and procurement practices
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools
  • Relevant certifications in contract management or project management (e.g., CPCM, PMP) will be an advantage

Essential Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of contract law, principles, and best practices
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of project management concepts and processes is a plus
