Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and update training programs and materials, customizing content for different audiences.

2. Deliver engaging sessions and workshops using various teaching methods.

3. Evaluate trainee progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback and support.

4. Maintain accurate training records and generate reports on program outcomes.

5. Stay current with industry trends and integrate new information into training content.

6. Provide practical, hands-on learning opportunities and guide real-world scenarios.

7. Offer ongoing mentoring and support, helping trainees set and achieve their goals.

8. Collect feedback from trainees to improve training content and delivery methods.

9. Collaborate with stakeholders to align training with organizational goals and identify needs. 

10. Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that encourages participation and communication.

11. Manage training materials, equipment, and facilities, ensuring they are up-to-date.

12. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct German language classes following our established curriculum and using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Prepare lesson plans, activities, and assessments that align with course objectives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of attendance and grades.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate actively and develop their language skills.
  • Stay updated on developments in German language education and incorporate relevant resources and materials into teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with other language instructors and department staff to ensure cohesive delivery of language programs.


Learning Outcomes

Level A1 – Can understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very simple sentences, which relate to the satisfying of concrete needs. Can introduce him/herself and others as well as ask others about themselves – e.g. where they live, who they know and what they own – and can respond to questions of this nature. Can communicate in a simple manner if the person they are speaking to speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to help.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • introduce yourself personally and professionally, and ask about the names and professions of others
  • count to 1,000,000
  • spell in German
  • form simple questions and answers using interrogatives, verb conjugations and nouns with articles
  • engage in simple conversations
  • have a simple grasp of grammatical structure.

Course Content – Level A1

  • Greetings (welcome and farewell)
  • The German alphabet
  • Pronunciation of letters – in particular the Umlauts ä, ö, ü
  • Introducing yourself and others
  • Vocabulary for word fields such as family, work, languages, colours, country names
  • Numbers from 1 – 1,000,000
  • Constructing questions by using interrogatives
  • Introduction to regular verb and basic irregular verb conjugations
  • Articles – definite, indefinite, possessive and negative
  • Nouns – singular and plural
  • Introduction to grammatical cases (declension)


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in German Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a German language instructor, preferably in an academic or language school setting.
  • Native or near-native fluency in German and a strong understanding of German grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes (e.g., online teaching platforms, multimedia resources).
  • Certification in teaching German as a foreign language (e.g., DaF/DaZ) is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.

Job Description

Projects: Leads negotiations and drafting of complex telecoms infrastructure sharing and interconnection agreements and reference offers such as for interconnection and infrastructure access and other strategic projects. Regularly interacts with legal counsels and senior legal counsels of counterparties, and internal subject matter experts including at director, VP level. Represents e& in discussions with the UAE telecoms regulator and where required, also other UAE regulatory bodies. Instructs / oversees support from junior members of the team and helps to develop more junior members of RLA. Advises on strategy and avoidance of legal & regulatory risks.

Advice: Provides complex and day-to-day advice in relation to telecoms regulations in the UAE in prompt and professional manner; where required, also advise on other laws and regulations in the UAE. Has ability to deal with or support on sophisticated competition law matters, both ex ante and ex post. Understanding of EU competition framework or similar is desirable. Has ability to deal with or support on sophisticated data protection matters. Understanding of EU data protection framework or similar is desirable. Advises in relation to dispute resolution of UAE telecoms regulatory disputes. Leads on formal complaints against the competition or other entities and defends the company`s interests against regulatory complaints lodged by the competitor, other entities or customers. Regularly interacts with legal counsels and senior legal counsels from Legal department, and internal subject matter experts including at director level. Drafts legal documents and submissions on telecoms regulatory matters. Coordination with external legal counsel and Corporate Legal team where required.

 

Contracts and T&Cs: Reviews commercial contracts and T&Cs for telecoms regulatory concerns and other key risk matters. Redrafts relevant parts of commercial contracts and T&Cs to align them with telecoms regulations and where required other laws and regulations and provides related advice. Negotiates contracts with partners and customers on expert level.  Contributes with strategic input into overall structure of T&Cs for telecoms services and where required also other related services. Regularly interacts with legal counsels and senior legal counsels from Legal department, and internal subject matter experts including at director - VP level. Drafts new contractual templates on expert level. 

Leads on formal complaints against the competition and other entities and defends the company`s interests against regulatory complaints lodged by the competitor, other entities and customers.

 

Consultations and policy documents: Leads on responses to complex regulatory consultations, advises on strategy of response in order to protect Etisalat`s legitimate interests. Presents to management on the impact and proposed strategy for response. Manages team of subject matter experts from internal departments to source comments and drafts the consultation response. Instructs / oversees support from junior members of the team.

Undertakes research on telecom regulatory subjects as international best practice.

Other support: Participates in cross-functional assignments. Presents on telecoms regulatory matters to RA and other departments. Provides other related professional support to VP/RLA, Regulatory Legal Affairs and Regulatory Affairs team (this may include for example preparation of presentations to management, reporting, review of documents, responses to requests).
