Job Purpose / Objective :

Coordinate and facilitate Quality team for continuous quality improvement, patient safety and to maintain accreditation status.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities  :

  • Coordinate the implementation of the policies, procedures and plans of the hospital based on national and international healthcare standards.
  • Participate in all hospital wide committee’s meetings and prepare and review the meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate implementation of quality Improvement and patient safety plan of the hospital and implementation of National/ International Healthcare Accreditation Standards.
  • Facilitate the education and training to all staff on Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.
  • Provide assistance to hospital quality teams on quality improvement methodologies and quality indicators as per the national/ international healthcare requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with national and international hospital standards.
  •  Coordinate data collection, validation analysis, trending and benchmarking on periodic basis.
  •  Conduct periodic quality improvement and patient safety compliance surveys.
  •  Assist in the development and implementation of patient satisfaction survey tools.
  • Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.

Requirements

Education/ Professional Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Medicine or Nursing or Hospital Management or Administration from a recognized national or international university.

Experience:

  • Minimum of Two years of experience in the field of healthcare quality improvement and patient safety or health care administration in a national or international accredited tertiary care hospital.

Patient Services Coordinator - 1

Job Purpose / Objective 

Provide a pleasant introduction of the patient to HMG and is responsible for interviewing patients accurately to gather pertinent data for the completion of the Patient Registration Form and ensures quality service for the patient from arrival until departure from HMG.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities  

  • Register Patient information completely in English and Arabic in Patient Health Record System -VIDA in complete, accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide the newly registered patients with their health record numbers.
  • Verify patient’s medical record number either through the Patient’s card or through the computer system.
  • Check appointments or ascertain needs of visitors/patients and directs them accordingly.
  • Ensure patient identity verification before issuing any invoices
  • Generate the consultation and the medical procedure invoices.
  • Collect and submit cash to the general cashier assigned by Finance Department and arrange and submit invoices to Finance Department on daily basis.
  • Maintain cleanliness in his/her assigned reception area.
  • Make appointment and gives routine non-medical instructions to patients concerning their next visit in HMG.
  • Attend to telephone inquiries.

Job Purpose / Objective :

Under the direct supervision of a registered Physiotherapist, assist and provide the plan of care been settled by the primary therapist, and also sharing in the infection control parameter and tidiness of the department.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities  :

  • Apply the plan of care which been set by the registered physiotherapist and under his/her direct supervision.
  • Provide particular expertise in performing therapeutic techniques such as heat and cold therapy, using physiotherapy machines, therapeutic exercise, therapeutic massage, Etc..
  • Ensure all clinics in the department are well cleaned and arranged for the arrival of a new patient.
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned and sterilized and ready for use.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Arrange the linen and towel in the department and organize the return of same for laundering daily.
  • Monitor the stock levels of supplies used in the department and notify the therapist so they may prepare request.
  • Coordinate with the Patient Services Department regarding the patient schedule to ensure a smooth experience for the patient through the department.
  • Answer the telephone in the absence of Patient Services assisting patient inquiries.
  • Demonstrate ethical and appropriate behavior for a clinical environment to include, but not limited to, the preservation of patient rights, dignity and privacy.
  • Provide patient and family education as per the needs.

Job Purpose / Objective 

Provide training needs and education on technology and technical systems to E-Medical Records staff and execute daily procedures and operations at Training Centre and in projects with regard to presentations, workshops, training activities and programs.

  • Supervise the overall activities and management of operations including but not limited to conduct sessions and expansion of Medical Records.
  • Prepare Medical Records lessons and the materials needed. Review and update these lessons and training materials as and when required.

  • Prepare new training concepts and services review, constantly update and modify the content of the orientation courses in accordance with the needs of the organization.
  • Research and develop soft skills topics that meet the needs and requirements of the HMG.
  • Create presentations as well as activities based on the HMG needs assessment.
  • Cooperate with Department managers to define all necessary training needs for staff training and development.
  • Provide appropriate feedback and maintain records of trainees’ progress and development.

Control of Approval

  • Coordinate multi source transaction of service approvals from various insurance companies.
  • Check and validates that each proposal/processed document has all the relevant documents required for processing the claims. It also acts as single point of contract to address the issues.

Patient Services

  • Assist patients to process the documents within shortest period of time.
  • Act as front liner to while receiving the patient, engage the patient with information and will be single point of contact for the patients.
  • Contact the insurance companies on behalf of the patients and update the patients on any issues related to their processing of documents.

Coordination

  • Coordinate with the clinic, administrative, claims and Billing departments for speedy processing of patient’s documents.
