Inside sales coordinator

We are looking for a passionate Inside Sales Coordinator, whose main role of is to establish a smooth flow of business process within the CA Climate Controls & Security Business Unit. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Project Operations, and the Support Team on project and contract requirements under the framework of Carrier Ethics & Compliance, the EH&S policy, the Quality Management System, and the Approval Matrix.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Handles SAP & CRM Transactions for Order Management
  • Co-ordinates with Finance/Accounts for projects budgeting/planning & release
  • Co-ordinates & supports the project execution team with procurement & delivery process
  • Prepares invoices for the ongoing projects & facilitate submission to customers
  • Supports the team in payment collection, purchase requisition etc.
  • Handles the interim Payment applications & GRN for vendors/ subcontractors
  • Provides support to operation team in project handover & closing in the books.
  • Organizes the document and records of Project/Contracts
  • Supports the sales & projects team in preparing monthly forecasts
  • Prepares internal reports like labor utilization, revenue backlogs, unbilled, warranty, account receivable on monthly basis
  • Supports the field team for timesheets entry, leave management, travel approvals, vehicle leasing etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Work Experience with Sales & Operations team
  • Familiar with SAP Systems/CRM & MS office
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in the same or similar industry
  • Knowledge of the HVAC Controls/BMS products/ Chiller Plant market
  • Knowledge of Total Quality Management and ISO Process & Procedures
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

As a Senior Consultant Coverage Engineer, you will:

  • Serve as an advisory and technical resource for Carrier clients, guiding them through all aspects of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) design and building process, from initial project concepts to detailed design stages for Chilled Water Systems.

Your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Monitoring and managing design projects involving chillers, airside systems, and controls, as well as assisting in the selection of appropriate HVAC systems and Carrier products from concept to tender release.
  • Analyzing HVAC project requirements, providing technical guidance and presentations, conducting feasibility studies, and staying updated on industry trends and product innovations.
  • Maintaining consultant relationships, managing technical activities, updating the consultant database, and analyzing market feedback for effectiveness.
  • Ensuring that the projects specify Carrier equipment to improve winning ratios and margins, as well as conducting regular training for consultants and clients.
  • Reporting monthly on project metrics, responding to inquiries, supporting the sales team with consultant approvals, while adhering to the Carrier Code of Ethics.

Who we’re looking for

As part of our team, you should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related HVAC field with strong technical knowledge of chillers. An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience as a subject matter expert on chilled water applied equipment and control solutions, with a thorough grasp of HVAC systems.
  • Excellent sales and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, combined with outstanding writing and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus.

Research Fellow

The Research Fellows are responsible for advancing knowledge in the applied fields of renewable energy systems, DC microgrids, and electric vehicles at the Joint Smart Grids and Electric Vehicles R&D Center (JSEC) in the College of Engineering. This position is to conduct research, set up experiments, design industry-ready showcase prototypes, and develop innovative solutions with high technology readiness. Working collaboratively with the JSEC director and other team members, you will explore the integration and optimization of these technologies to shape a bright and sustainable future.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducts applied research in the fields of renewable energy systems, DC microgrids, and/or electric vehicles.
  • Investigates the application of control theory, modeling and parameter identification, and embedded systems in the development of innovative solutions.
  • Develops experimental and industry-ready PCB-fabricated prototype solutions involving power electronics, embedded systems, and computer communication.
  • Leverages expertise in modeling and design to construct lab-based and showcase DC microgrids with hierarchical control strategies and their digital twin in simulation.
  • Researchers and develops battery energy storage systems (BESS) management and active balancing techniques.
  • Works collaboratively with the team to design and execute innovative experiments to involve contributing expertise while learning from diverse team members to conduct rigorous research.
  • Disseminates photovoltaic system (PV) and electric machines for modeling, parameter identification, and control.
  • Prepares and presents research findings in journal papers and conference presentations.
  • Performs literature surveys on assigned topics and analyzes research data from experiments.
  • Empowers junior team members through mentorship and actively contributes to securing research funding by participating in grant writing efforts.
  • Manages labs and their logistics and procuring additional laboratory supplies.
  • Performs all other duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
  • Performs all other related duties as required or assigned by manager.

Education

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related field from an accredited institute.
  • Completed graduate courses in nonlinear systems, control, power electronics, electric machines, and/or renewable energy systems.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of two years experience in lab equipment and setups for experimental validation and in research or related fields, with two published journal articles related to the topics.

  • Uses standard procedures to perform basic on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
  • Inspects equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning.
  • Maintains equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests and submits weekly reports summarizing these activities.

We are looking for an experienced senior Legal Compliance professional who will be developing Legal Compliance strategies and communicating with senior functional leaders regarding compliance violations, investigation findings and corrective procedures. You will be working with corporate attorneys as necessary to address compliance issues and develop improvements to compliance programs by understanding legal environments, trends, and practices to ensure the most effective compliance solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports violations of compliance or regulatory standards to authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate or required.
  • Investigates alleged violations of laws and regulations pertaining to Carrier's businesses by utilizing internal and/or external resources to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborates with the human resources department to ensure the implementation of consistent disciplinary action where violations of compliance standards occur.
  • Consults with corporate attorneys as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issues.
  • Develops, implements, administers and certifies policies, procedures, and practices to ensure company is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provides employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Law Degree
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience
  • Experience with international trade control would be beneficial
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • To be a Saudi national
