Job Purpose / Objective

Provide a pleasant introduction of the patient to HMG and is responsible for interviewing patients accurately to gather pertinent data for the completion of the Patient Registration Form and ensures quality service for the patient from arrival until departure from HMG. 

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities  

  • Register Patient information completely in English and Arabic n Patient Health Record System -VIDA in complete, accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide the newly registered patients with their health record numbers.
  • Verify patient’s medical record number either through the Patient’s card or through the computer system.
  • Check appointments or ascertain needs of visitors/patients and directs them accordingly.
  • Ensure patient identity verification before issuing any invoices
  • Generate the consultation and the medical procedure invoices.
  • Collect and submit cash to the general cashier assigned by Finance Department and arrange and submit invoices to Finance Department on daily basis.
  • Maintain cleanliness in his/her assigned reception area.
  • Make appointment and gives routine non-medical instructions to patients concerning their next visit in HMG.
  • Attend to telephone inquiries.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all the times.
  • Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
  • Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.
Requirements

Education/ Professional Qualification

High School; preferably Diploma holder or College Graduate


Experience 

At least one (1) years of experience in the same field

Job Purpose / Objective 

Provide minimum level of supervision and support to a small to medium group of housekeepers/maintenance team during their daily activities and special cleaning projects as well as prepare work orders and requisitions for cleaning supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities  

  • Monitor cleanliness of the designated area assigned to each housekeeping staff as per the checklist.
  • Inspect and monitor quality and quantity of work while in progress or upon completion and advice of additional or corrective cleaning/maintenance applications needed.
  • Instruct and assist team housekeeping in on-the-job cleaning procedures and techniques or solve any problems related to housekeeping.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping staff complies with the policies and procedures and take necessary disciplinary action as needed.
  • Conduct check-up regularly of all machinery and equipment, furniture and curtains and ensure proper maintenance and conditions and inform the Ancillary Services Manager of any damage it may have as per the checklist.
  • Make team schedule to ensure adequate coverage as absences or emergencies may require.
  • Maintain adequate storage of housekeeping supplies and equipment.

Job Purpose / Objective 

Assume responsibility in coordinate and supervise the work in the department. Responsible for fast delivery of files and giving of daily and monthly census.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities  

  • Acts as liaison between the Medical Records Department and other Departments.
  • Coordinates with the Department Head for any problems in which the Medical Records Department is involve.
  • Coordinates with the Health Support Services Specialist if there are problems with regards to patient files and patient cards.
  • Responsible in giving evaluation to all Medical Records Staff and submitting it to the HIS Officer.
  • Ensures responsibilities in giving the patient’s files on time.
  • Liaises with the Nurses and Health Support Services in giving Patient’s files.
  • Liaises with Nurses, Health Support Services Specialist and Business Office in identifying and solving problems.
  • Responsible in preparing the daily and monthly statistics reports.
  • Assumes responsibility in practicing confidentiality in patient files.
  • Responsible in following assignments to the staff and coordinate with the scheduling of the Medical Records staff.
  • Complies with the standards laid down by the joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA)/ Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI).

Job Purpose / Objective

Coordinate and perform all activities in billing section, ensure speedy and error free functioning, initiate measures to patient conversion, help approval teams and manage cycle processing time

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities  

  • Control Billing:
    • Scrutinizes the generated bill done by the billing clerk, keep strict checks on the documents.
    • Interfaces with the patients/its family members relating to explanation of bills and doubts arising out of it.
    • Controls and manages all forms of bills received every day, also have measure on the discount being offered on the billing.
    • Trains Team and new employees on the same.
  • Billing Operations:
    • Processes the bills with due diligence, explains the bills to patients, contacts the family to pay in advance if needed.
    • Makes estimation cost for the treatment and operation.
    • Coordinates with business office relating to business promotion, discounts and various forms of offers for the patients.
    • Makes refund to the patient in case of advance payments.
    • Informs business coordinator for the new procedure code in the inpatient or changes to that effect.
  • Coordination:
    • Builds coalition with the various departments for speedy processing of patients’ concerns.
    • Takes responsibility of Business Office Coordinator in his absence/crisis situation.
    • Act as a front line or central point of contact for all the departments of the hospital relating to all issues related to approval section.
    • Participates in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.

    • Performs other applicable tasks assigned within the level of his/her competence as required by the admission supervisor

  • Minimum of Two years of experience in the field of healthcare quality improvement and patient safety or health care administration in a national or international accredited tertiary care
