Job overview:

We are seeking a Senior Engineer – HSE to be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the organization's health, safety, and environmental programs. This role involves developing and executing HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. The Senior Engineer – HSE will lead a team of HSE professionals, collaborate with senior management, and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across GCCIA.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the HSE strategic plan in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the HSE team, ensuring effective execution of HSE initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Develop, review, and update HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with all HSE regulations and standards.
  • Monitor changes in HSE legislation and ensure the organization adapts accordingly.
  • Oversee the identification, assessment, and management of HSE risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
  • Ensure effective incident investigation and root cause analysis processes are in place.
  • Establish and monitor HSE performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and present regular reports on HSE performance to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of HSE training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Ensure that HSE training programs are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Promote ongoing professional development and certification for the HSE team.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Ensure the organization is prepared for emergency situations through regular drills and training.
  • Lead the organization’s response to HSE emergencies and incidents.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives and practices within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and implement programs to reduce the organization’s environmental impact.
  • Drive initiatives to achieve sustainability goals and objectives.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.

Admission Coordinator

Job Purpose / Objective:

Coordinator Admission functions to ensure that all functions of the admission Office are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Admit patient according to Hospital policies and procedures.
  • Obtain applicant information by requesting completed applications and medical information; verifying and clarifying information; interviewing patients and family members; explaining admission criteria.
  • Resolve patient/family dissatisfactions by investigating concerns.
  • Prepare daily report of all admitted patients from the last day (mid-night) with their payment status.
  • Receive patients for Admission from Out Patient Department (OPD), clinics, Emergency Room and Direct Admission.
  • Prepare admissions reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protect HMG reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Ascertain room availability from the ward level staff and advices patient concerning room rates and admission requirements.
  • Coordinate the room assignment and notifies the appropriate department.
  • Advice patient concerning room rate, treatment plans and admission requirements.
  • Ensure that admission formalities are completed without delay and with courtesy towards the patients from and other documentation requirement must be as complete accurate as possible, including necessary faxes for company approval for the admission and treatment plan.
  • Maintain records of staff sickness and absence for other causes, reporting to the Admission Supervisor/Patient Relations Supervisor.
  • Implement appropriate policies and procedures to achieve the hospital goals objectives in pursuit of standard of Care, Quality performance improvement.
  • Participates in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
  • Enriches patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
  • Perform other applicable tasks assigned within the level of his/her competence as required by the admission supervisor.

The Overhead Lines Technician is responsible for overseeing and supporting the maintenance, inspection, and repair of the transmission line infrastructure. In this role, the technician works closely with contractors to ensure the quality and safety of maintenance activities. The technician assists engineers in supervising contractors, conducting field inspections, and responding to emergencies while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with contractors to monitor and verify the quality of work performed on overhead transmission lines.
  • Assist engineers in supervising contractor activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections of transmission line routes, documenting any right-of-way (ROW) encroachments and reporting issues to management.
  • Respond promptly to line trips or faults by coordinating and supervising emergency line patrols.
  • Support contractors in identifying and addressing faults, ensuring a quick and safe restoration of service.
  • Supervise third-party projects and activities crossing or affecting the transmission line ROW to prevent disruptions.
  • Oversee and participate in environmental and mechanical inspections, including ESDD (Equivalent Salt Deposit Density) and NSDD (Non-Soluble Deposit Density) assessments of insulators, in collaboration with contractors.
  • Supervise drone inspections on-site, ensuring data accuracy and appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Assist in the preparation of observation reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations from field inspections.
  • Document and report on maintenance activities, sand removal needs, and joint estimations for future planning.
  • Perform safety checks before and during maintenance activities, ensuring all operations are carried out according to safety protocols.
  • Promote adherence to GCCIA safety standards among contractors and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, legal developments, and emerging trends in contract management.

Education:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.

The Purpose of the Role
